Sunday 3 November marked the end Ross Murphy’s time as Pastor of Airdrie Baptist Church.
Ross has served us faithfully as for the past 12 years, through both good times and bad.
He joined Airdrie Baptist in January 2008, accompanied by his wife, Deborah. During their time with, two more Murphys have arrived: Katie in 2008 and Grace in 2014.
Ross was diagnosed with a brain tumour in April 2011 and has undergone two significant courses of treatment in the years since. Despite this, he has remained positive about his condition and committed to his ministry at the Church.
While Ross is leaving Airdrie Baptist, he and his family are not going far and will remain in the town.
Ross takes up his new role as Pastor at Airdrie Ebenezer Evangelical Church on Sunday 17 November.
We pray God’s richest blessing on him as he starts his new ministry and on his family as they settle into their new Church family.
