Another really busy day in the clinic with almost 150 children coming through. The team worked really hard and were able to ease the pain of many of them.

The day started with Lindsey and Lynn speaking at morning assembly at the school then the clinic was set up.
We saw almost 100 children this afternoon, many of whom received treatment unavailable to them otherwise. Everything ran smoothly. Read More
We have arrived safely in Repalle!! The young people were all lined up and welcomed us with rose petals, fireworks and garlands. So lovely to see their excitement!

Bags are packed and we are all set to leave from Glasgow at 8am tomorrow, 5th January.
We are taking a lot of equipment, including a toothbrush for every child. Read More
We are upgrading our church heating system the week beginning Monday 22 January 2018.
The replacement will take all week to install and will mean that all groups that meet in the Church during that time will be cancelled, including Toddlers, JAM and the Airdrie Foodbank.
It is hoped that our Sunday services won’t be affected by this work but we will keep people informed of any changes.

We are hosting a joint service of Airdrie Baptist, Ebenezer Evangelical and Plains Evangelical Churches on 10 December.
The speaker will be Mark Nelson from Plains and worship will be led by the band from Ebenezer. Read More

All are welcome to attend the Airdrie Baptist AGM in November.
It is an opportunity to hear about all aspects of our fellowship.
All auxiliary leaders are asked to prepare a short report about the past 12 months and future plans and send this to Jane.
Monday 16, Wednesday 18 and Friday 20 October, 7.30 – 9.30pm
We are running three free youth events during the October Week for those S1 – S6.
The events will focus on God’s love and how we are loved by Him. They will feature games, food, hot chocolate and a Bible study each evening.

We are holding our annual BMS Harvest Appeal and light lunch this coming Sunday.
The project this year is titled “Wonderfully Made” and envelopes will be available in the pews on Sundays 1 and 8 October.
Please add your name to the list if you want to come for lunch.

We are hosting an Acoustic Cafe and Barbecue at the end of July. With no evening services this month we warmly invite all to to this family-friendly event.
The barbecue will start at 5.30pm with the Acoustic Cafe stating at 6.30pm. There will be music, a speaker and activities for young people.

We are delighted to announce the appointment of a new Youth Worker at Airdrie Baptist. Kirsty Lee will take up the new role in July 2017 and will be with us two days a week.
Kirsty will work with the Youth Fellowship on Friday nights and will also run the Bible Class on a Sunday morning.
A Livingston native, Kirsty is currently studying Theology at the Scottish Baptist College in Paisley. She hopes to pursue a career in youth work when she completes her course.
We’re sure you’ll join us in welcoming Kirsty to the fellowship.

Big Bible Takeaway is the title of our holiday club this year. Open to all children P1 – S1, it will take place in the church hall each day from 10.30am – 12.45pm.
It will once again feature games, crafts, songs, challenges and Bible stories.
All are welcome and it’s completely free!

Jo Ramsay, Vanessa Telfer and David Clark have been coopted on to the Deaconate which means they can serve for two years prior to standing for formal election. Read More
We host cake decorating workshops one Saturday a month from 11am – 1pm in the hall. These workshops are a chance to learn new skills, meet new people and have fun.

After some consideration we have decided to discontinue our Kid’s Church for the foreseeable future.
From 19 March onwards we will revert to a traditional evening service at 6.30pm on the third Sunday of each month.

All are welcome to this free event featuring the Airdrie Salvation Army Band and Choristers. The night includes a special children’s medley.
Tea, coffee, hot chocolate and mince pies will be served afterwards.
