The theme of this year’s holiday club is “Guardians of Ancora”. The holiday club will run from 4 – 8 July.
There will be a meeting on Tuesday 14 June at 7.30pm for all those who are interested in helping. This will be a chance to look at the material and also meet other volunteers.

Our Church meeting will be held in the hall this coming Wednesday. Please come along as we discuss plans for the church in the coming year, including budgets and leadership.

The Women’s Fellowship finishes up for the session this Tuesday with a Ladies’ Supper. This will be held in the small hall at the Church.

We have a need for volunteers to assist with serving teas, coffees and toast at the Airdrie Foodbank.
The foodbank runs each Friday from 11am – 1.30pm.
If you would like to help, please get in touch with Linda Murray.
The Airdrie Foodbank has now been running at the Church for a few months and this week we provided for 30 people and families.
There is currently a specific need for toiletries, particularly for men but those for women and children would also be appreciated.
If you are able to help, please deposit items in the collection basket in the vestibule.
Please continue to pray for those who attend the Foodbank, as well as those who volunteer each week.
There is a change to the scheduled Women’s Fellowship meeting tonight.
Rev Georgie Baxendale is unable to join us and instead we welcome the praise group, Close Harmony.
All women are very welcome to join us for what promises to be a wonderful evening.

We will be collecting men’s toiletries for the mission so if you’d like to contribute, please bring some along with you.

We arrived safely in Repalle to hundreds of children and young people greeting us with petals, garlands and fireworks. Their smiling faces and chorus of ‘Welcome to India’ made the long journey seem so worthwhile.
After a night’s sleep we set up the clinic and saw the youngest class. The children were treated for minor ailments and had some dentistry done (sometimes a bit traumatic!!) but for their long term good. Read More

This is a lovely occasion where we get to meet Baptist women from other areas of Lanarkshire and relax and have lunch served to us. Read More
The Women’s Fellowship resumes this Tuesday, 12 January, at 7.30pm.
The first session will feature musical guests Jim Leitch alongside William, Karin and Emma Dunnett.
All women are very welcome to attend.
This year sees another trip by teams from the UK and USA to IREF in India to provide medical and preaching support to those who stay there. The trip will run from Friday 8 – Thursday 21 January.

The ABC 20+ group are hosting a fundraising ceilidh for IREF on 30 January 2016, 7.30 – 10.30pm.
The event will be held at Gartlea Community Centre and will feature ceilidh band “Haud Yer Lugs” and a buffet.
Tickets cost £10 for adults, £5 for children (under 5s go free) and are available from Elizabeth Richardson or Karin Dunnett. All are welcome.

We are hosting our Christmas Carol Service in the Church on Thursday 15 December in the Church. Once again we will be joined by the Salvation Army Band.
The evening starts at 7.30pm and refreshments and mince pies will be served afterwards.
The event is suitable for people of all ages, children included. All are welcome, please invite your friends.

The last Acoustic Cafe Church of the year will take place in the Church hall this Sunday night at 6.30pm.
Like before, it is a chance to enjoy fellowship in a relaxed, cafe-style environment.
The evening will feature music, a speaker and plenty of tasty treats to enjoy.
All are welcome and we look forward to seeing you there.
The funeral of our sister Margaret Foster will take place at Airdrie Baptist Church on Thursday 26 November 2015 at 10.30am.
The funeral service will be followed by a short committal service at New Monkland Cemetery and a reception in the Church hall.
Please remember Margaret’s loved ones in your prayers at this time.
The funeral service of our dear sister and Deacon, Norma Bridges, will take place at Airdrie Baptist Church on Tuesday 24 November 2015 at 10.30am.
The service will be followed by a short committal service at New Monkland Cemetery and refreshments will be available at the Tudor Hotel.
