Discipleship Explored and Alpha Youth

October 2018 – January 2019

We are running Discipleship Explored and Alpha Youth courses over the coming months on Sunday evenings.

Discipleship Explored is aimed at Christians at all stages of their walk with Christ. Focusing on Paul’s letter to the Philippians, it gets to the heart of what drives discipleship: the love of Christ.

The Alpha Youth Series is being run at the same time for young people aged 11 – 18 and is open to anyone of faith or none. Continue reading “Discipleship Explored and Alpha Youth”

Evenings at Airdrie Baptist

We are changing the format of our evening services from October 2018. These will include a mixture of special gospel / testimony, youth and communion focus services, as well as the now established Acoustic cafe.

We will also be hosting four family teas – a chance for the Church family to come together and enjoy fellowship over a buffet meal. These will be held at 5.30pm to make them more accessible for those with young children. Continue reading “Evenings at Airdrie Baptist”

Kathleen Bremner funeral

We meet to give thanks to God for the life of Kathleen Bremner on Wednesday 27 June at 1pm in the Church. The service will be followed by a short service of committal at New Monkland Cemetery.

Please uphold the wider family in prayer at this time.

Silver jubilee

We had the final clinic in Repalle this morning. We have seen 641 people in total and 207 teeth have been extracted! We will go out to villages next week and do clinics there.

Today has been a very special and very busy day at IREF as the degree college is 25 years old. There was a big silver jubilee celebration with dancers, singers, food and many former students coming back to share what they are doing now and receive awards (some of them remembered Jason taking their teeth out when they were very young!).
