Acoustic guitarThe Young Adults group invites you to Acoustic Cafe Church at the end of May.  The event will be held in the main hall and will be a night of music, teaching and fellowship in a relaxed, cafe-style environment.

All are welcome and there will also be a space set aside for children. Please invite your friends too.

Coffee, tea, soft drinks and a range of snacks will be available throughout the night.

There is a Women’s Fellowship Thanksgiving Rally being held at Knightswood Baptist Church this coming Saturday at 2pm.

The speaker at the event will be Mrs C Wylie from the Salvation Army. And offering will also be taken for Release International and Christian Concern.

Our brother Nim’s funeral will be held at Airdrie Baptist Church at 1pm, followed by a committal at New Monkland Cemetery. Refreshments will be available at the Tudor Hotel following the service.

Viewings will be available at McLaren Funeral Parlour, 45 Sunnyside Road, Coatbridge on:

  • Sunday 19 April, 3 – 5pm
  • Monday 20 April, 5 – 7pm

Family flowers only. If you wish, donations can be made to the British Heart Foundation or Diabetes UK.

Ross MurphyOur pastor Ross Murphy will be undergoing surgery on Tuesday 31 March 2015 in the latest stage of his treatment for a brain tumour.

To coincide with this, the Church will be open that day for a special time of prayer.  There will be three periods of prayer to try and accommodate as many people as we can.

The Church will be open:

  • 10am – 12noon
  • 2 – 4pm
  • 7 – 9pm

All are welcome and encouraged to pray throughout the day and beyond.

We are also hosting a special praise and prayer night this Sunday at 6.30pm in the Church hall to which all are warmly welcomed.

The young adults are holding a prayer & worship focused evening for the whole church on Sunday 29 March at 6.30pm in the large hall.

This will be an evening for us to unite together is our love for our church family and uphold them in prayer and will be in place of our usual evening service.

All are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Airdrie Town Hall Christmas Carol Service

Sunday 7 December, 6pm

Start off your Christmas celebrations joining with the local community for this year’s Airdrie Community Carol Concert.

This year’s concert will feature the Airdrie Salvation Army Band, Tollbrae Primary School Choir, soloist Rachel Callander and other guests, as well as exploring and celebrating the true story of Christmas.

Tickets are free but you must have one to attend. (Strictly first come-first served).

A collection will be taken during the service for Maggie’s Lanarkshire with all proceeds going to support the work that Maggie’s do locally with people battling against cancer.

Tea and Coffee will be available to purchase before the concert and doors of the Airdrie Town Hall open at 5.30pm.
