Easter services and return to Church

Shining cross

We have a few special events planned for the Easter weekend, and we’re excited to say that Easter Sunday will see some of the congregation able to attend in person.

Good Friday (2 April)

We will be hosting a Good Friday Communion Service at 7pm on Zoom. Our guest speaker will be Terry Boyle. The Zoom details are the same as our other online meetings, please contact pastoral@airdriebaptist.co.uk if you need the password.

Easter Sunday (4 April)

Our Easter Sunday morning service will start at 11am, with Group A back in the building for the first time since before Christmas. The service will, of course, be streamed live on YouTube for those unable to attend.

In the evening we will be watching a special Easter musical called ‘Then Came Sunday’ on Zoom, starting at 6.30pm.

Arrangements for future weeks

The pattern of church service attendance will return to alternating Groups A and B, with Group B being in church on Sunday 11 April.

All additional requirements will still be in place, including face coverings, one way systems, hand sanitiser, seating arrangements and no communal worship singing. If you wish to be allocated to a group, please contact Morag Carmichael or Vanessa Telfer.
