The Christian Institute, CARE for Scotland and the Evangelical Alliance are holding a joint meeting in Airdrie to encourage supporters to get behind the Scotland for Marriage campaign. The meeting will be at 7.30pm on Friday 16 March at Airdrie Baptist Church.

Scotland for Marriage aims to mobilise concerned citizens throughout Scotland to oppose redefining marriage. Visit the Scotland for Marriage website for more information.

The Scottish Government’s consultation on redefining marriage to introduce same-sex marriage closed on 9 December 2011, but we know that groups wanting to redefine marriage are now lobbying MSPs behind the scenes.

Redefining marriage is a profoundly important issue affecting generations to come. The new definition would become the standard one promoted by public bodies, including schools.

Please come along to the meeting to hear what practical steps you can take to help the campaign and defend marriage as the union of one man and one woman.
