The theme of this year’s holiday club is “Guardians of Ancora”. The holiday club will run from 4 – 8 July.

There will be a meeting on Tuesday 14 June at 7.30pm for all those who are interested in helping. This will be a chance to look at the material and also meet other volunteers.

If you want to find out more please contact Valerie Sim.

Summer arrangements at ABC

Summer is upon us (no really, it is) and as such, we are making some changes to our regular meetings as detailed below.

Sunday evenings

There will be no evening services 5 July – 9 August.  These will resume on Sunday 16 August at 6.30pm.

Kids @ ABC will finish up on Sunday 28 June, however there will still be a Sunday Club running during the morning service throughout July and August.

Please remember that our holiday club, ‘Go Overboard!’, runs from Monday 29 June – Friday 3 July.

Midweek meetings

The Wednesday prayer meeting and home fellowships have now stopped for the Summer and will resume from Wednesday 26 August.  The youth programme has already stopped and will return once the schools recommence.

Go Overboard! holiday club

29 June – 3 July 2015

All primary age kids are invited to our holiday club. There will be games, challenges, crafts and Bible stories.

This year it’s called Go Overboard! and will look at the story of Jonah.

The club will run from 10.30am – 12.45pm each day at Airdrie Baptist.  The club is free for all and it would be great to see you there.

Over the summer we are looking to run both a Holiday Club and a Kid’s Sunday Club (which takes the place of Kids @ ABC while the schools are off).

It is hoped that the Holiday Club will run w/b Monday 29 June.

If you are available to help at either of these, please contact Valerie Sim (Holiday Club) or Jo Ramsay (Sunday Club).

Fit for a King: holiday club

Our annual holiday club will run from Monday 30 June – Friday 4 July 2014 at the Church. The title this year is Fit for a King.

We are excited about inviting lots of children to have fun and learn about Jesus.

If you’d like to get involved as part of the team, please speak to Valerie Sim. There will be a meeting to look at the material on Tuesday 20 May 2014 at 7.30pm.

Opportunities to serve our young people

Opportunities to serve our young people

May is almost upon us and summer is just around the corner. During the summer months, our usual activities for young people also take a break, including Kids @ ABC and Bible Class.

We aim to run a Summer Sunday School during our morning services during July and August. If you would be interested in helping out, please contact Jo Ramsay.

We also plan to run a holiday club during the first week of July. If you are interested in helping, please contact Valerie Sim.
