Prizegiving is a great opportunity for us as a church family to give thanks for the children and young people in our fellowship. It’s a chance for us to let them know how much we value them.
We also take the time to thank our leaders who have served so faithfully once again. They take their place amongst the many unsung heroes of the church. Most of that work is done quietly, behind the scenes, without thought of fanfare or reward. (Though Matthew 6 reminds Christians that our heavenly Father will reward us for the good we do in secret.)
